Does Expensify upload my receipts?
Yes. SmartScan sends the receipt image to Expensify servers to be read. HeyJerni runs its AI model on the iPhone, so the image and the extracted data stay on the device.
Can I import my Expensify data into HeyJerni?
Not directly. Expensify exports CSV and PDF reports, and HeyJerni does not import expense-report CSVs. Most people start fresh at the beginning of a financial year.
