Tap + then Scan a receipt, point the camera at the receipt and capture. The on-device AI reads the amount, merchant and date; check them and tap Save. Keep capturing to scan several at once, and each receipt becomes its own draft.

Tap + then Say it, and say it the way you would tell a friend: "Yesterday, $180 keyboard at JB Hi-Fi, for work." You check the draft before it is saved. It needs iOS 26, understands English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and the recording is not kept.

Export the statement as a PDF from your bank app and share it into HeyJerni, then tick the charges to keep; nothing is saved until you tap Add. A photographed statement will not work, because a scan has no text to read.How to import a bank statement →

Correct the category once and HeyJerni remembers that merchant. The next receipt from the same merchant is filed to your chosen category automatically.

Open the expense and tap Edit to change any field. Swipe left on an expense in the list to delete it; you'll get a confirmation first, and a brief Undo window after.

Tap Start drive when you set off and Finish drive when you arrive. GPS records the route and kilometres on your iPhone, and the trips feed a logbook or cents-per-kilometre claim, with the car's running costs beside them.

Go to Settings → Backup. Turn on iCloud backup for a daily copy in your own iCloud Drive, or export an archive by hand; either one restores on a new iPhone.

Yes. Deleting the app deletes the data on your iPhone. An iCloud backup stays in your own iCloud Drive until you delete it in the Files app; without one, export a backup archive first.

Go to Settings → Remove Ads. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription; on a new iPhone with the same Apple ID, tap Restore purchase. The same screen lists the monthly support tiers, which also remove ads and unlock the Accountant Pack.
